St. Louis, United States - March 14, 2018 /PressCable/ —

St. Louis, MO (March 14, 2018)—As we move toward the middle of the calendar year, a period begins when many high school juniors consider the most stressful and challenging time of their young lives. Not only are students expected to keep up their grades in the toughest courses in secondary school, but they will also need to excel on a variety of standardized tests on which colleges place great importance for acceptance or scholarships. For many young adults, these are the first challenges of adulthood, as much a test of focus as it is a test of knowledge.

To help take some of the pressure off these students, Mackler Associates offer short and long-term programs of instruction. All programs are customized for individual, one-on-one tutelage, and each has been proven to raise ACT and SAT scores significantly, as well as securing 4s and 5s on the numerous AP exams administered in May. Mackler Associates is a standardized testing preparation and tutoring agency that helps students attain higher grades, better test scores, and admission to desired colleges. The agency specializes in the ACT (American College Testing) and the SAT (Scholastic Assessment/Aptitude Test), the two most important exams for college entry. Resources are available for students, parents, and teachers, at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. There are also mentoring programs that prepare young people for life after primary school, and case studies that other educators can use to improve their own methods.

The last opportunities to take the SAT or ACT before the end of the school year are fast approaching. Students can sign up to take a Mackler SAT or ACT prep course by March 31st and receive $100 off of the regular fee. Here are the upcoming testing dates for the two tests: ACT—April 14, June 9, and July 14; SAT—May 5, June 2.

Jan 16, 2019

LIMA, Peru — A year ago, Venezuelan migrant Reymar Perdomo was singing for spare change on jammed buses, struggling to make ends meet while building a new life in Peru's capital. Now Perdomo combines her street performances with appearances at concerts and on TV programs, and her song has become the unofficial anthem of Venezuelans who have fled their country's economic...

APNewsBreak: New pen may allow sale of horses for slaughter

Jan 16, 2019

RENO, Nev. — The U.S. Forest Service has built a new corral for wild horses in Northern California, which could allow it to bypass federal restrictions and sell the animals for slaughter. The agency acknowledged in court filings in a potentially precedent-setting legal battle that it built the pen for mustangs gathered in the fall on national forest land along the California-Nevada border because of restrictions on such sales at other federal holding facilities. The agency denies claims by horse advocates it has made up its mind to sell the more than 250 horses for slaughter. But it also says...

Trump's burger-fest brings roasting from late-night TV hosts

Jan 16, 2019

WASHINGTON — Junk food for athletes? President Donald Trump's offer of greasy burgers and fries to the college football champion Clemson Tigers brought a roasting from late-night TV hosts. Trump, a fast-food lover, said he paid for the meal himself because of the partial government shutdown, which has led to furloughs among federal workers, including at the White House. Otherwise, he joked, first lady Melania Trump and Karen Pence, Vice President Mike Pence's wife, would be making salads. "I had a choice. Do we have no food for you, because we have a shutdown?" Trump told the team gathered Monday...
